TWO YEARS TRANE BATTERY WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS           Golden Spring Export Pte Ltd trading the Trane Battery warrants to the original purchaser, that this battery will be free of defects in material, under the correct application, normal use and service conditions. Golden Spring Exporte Pte Ltd's sole obligation in terms of this warranty shall be, in its sole discretion, to repair or to replace the battery, within a reasonable time period subject to the following conditions:     1. Any claims in terms of this warranty must be made as soon as the purchaser becomes aware of the defect and which must become apparent within the warranty period. Failure to notify within warranty period will render the warranty void.     2. The purchaser must return the defective battery within the warranty period and exhibit satisfactory proof of purchase of battery from the dealer. The original receipt and the vehicle must be presented when making a valid warranty claim.     3. Warranty of 12 months is given to batteries fitted in vehicles run on petrol fuel.     4. Warranty of 6 months is given to batteries fitted in vehicles run on diesel fuel.     5. Our liability is limited to replacement of the battery according to the terms and conditions. We will not be responsible for any expenses for installation, towing, system tests, charging a battery, lossof time, or other expenses which would be considered as incidental or consequential damages.     6. This warranty does not cover damage to the battery caused by abuse , failure to keep battery properly charged, fire, collision, explostion, freezing, theft or overcharging.     7. This warranty will be void if the battery is installed, maintained or operated other than in accordance with the instruction furnished.     8.
